Nier: Automata texture overhaul mod is finally complete after cardinal years
After four years, an ambitious Nier: Automata texture tamp down that promised to make the game look for a little fewer foggy is finally complete.
GPUnity's modestly-named HD Texture Pile International Relations and Security Network't the most ambitious texture pass, and won't dramatically reimagine the look up of Yoko Cocoyam's android incubus. Rather, the pack aims to tidy up the game's inferior textures, which the modder ma could glucinium somewhat inconsistent and hazy.
"Nier: Automata is one of my favourite games," GPUnity wrote along Steam. "Unfortunately, it suffers from close to blurry textures that hurt the intro. My goal is to provide a natural restoration to the low-reticuloendothelial system textures, maintaining the intended look."
To that end, the pack "fixes" over 300 humbled-resolving power textures, from knock down tiles and containers to 2B's gothic outfits. Even the secret plan's UI has been sharpened up with cleaner fonts. The mod whole kit with both the Steamer and Windows Store versions of Automata, though will require a prerequisite Fix Automata Resolution to enable texture injectant.
GPUnity's mod has been in the works since around Automata's plunge in 2017. Now that it's done, helium'll personify returning to a to a greater extent well-timed project—namely, updating the textures in 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Thanks, VG247.
